Peach Shell Earrings

Beautiful glass earrings inspired by the beautiful coastline of the Isle of Wight where glass artist Linda Newnham lives. Each bead is created by hand one at a time using a hot flame. The glass comes in the form of rods from the island of Murano. Once the beads are completed they are placed in a kiln where they are slowly cooled to anneal the glass which prevents them from cracking. Each bead is then cleaned and made up into jewellery using only the highest quality sterling silver findings.

This pair of shell earrings has been made using transparent peach glass on top of an ivory sand base. Each bead is decorated with shells and urchins and then the glass has been swirled to create a wave. It has been etched to resemble the look of sea glass. Earrings measure approx. 21mm from top of wire to bottom on bead. Your earrings will arrive in an attractive gift box.
