1st Mainland Craft Show

I'm so excited. I've just been accepted for my first craft show on the mainland. It's at Fort Purbrook in Portsmouth over Easter weekend.

I went to the Christmas fair last year to have a look and see what it was like and ended up chatting to a lady from the island who I knew from doing craft fairs years ago. I picked her brains and got the low down and she introduced me to the organisers Woodland Crafts.

The craft show had a great selection of stalls and was very well attended.

I'd never been to Fort Purbrook before. I went with my husband and my mum and whilst we were there we did the tunnel tour and learned about the history of the fort which was very interesting. It was built as part of what became known as the Palmerston Follies along with the forts in the solent. The views from there over Portsmouth and the surrounding area are amazing. Well worth a visit.

Hope to see you there.

Thanks for looking.
